Each estate is different; same with the vintage. From Martineau: “I drank the 2014 vintage, which had very tropical aromas, and on the palate, a lot of green flavors: anise, herbs, some green vegetal notes. Eucalyptus on the finish.”
Ocho featured once again on the UK’s Sunday Brunch television show, thanks to our friend Camille Vidal at La Maison Wellness. Click here to watch clip.
Have you watched Agave: The Spirit of a Nation yet? If you are in the US or Europe, you may be able to be part of Tequila Ocho and Mezcal Vago’s “Dinner & A Movie Nights”. See more info on the film here.

“Tequila Ocho Plata 2017 Single Estate “Los Patos” ($50) smells of peaches, bananas, lemongrass and straw. The list of flavors in the mix includes chamomile, rosemary, peppermint, avocado and green olives. It opens and develops in the glass like a fine wine.”
Ocho featured in Forbes again this month, this time in alongside an interview of Brand Ambassador Jesse Estes. Click here for full article.
What We’re Drinking This Month
Last week saw the world celebrating International Paloma Day, with people all over the world sending in photos of their Tequila Ocho Palomas. Thank you to everyone who took part!
In case you haven’t had a Paloma yet, you can make them at home easily:
50ml Tequila Ocho Blanco/Plata 10ml fresh lime juice Top with Grapefruit Soda (we love Three Cents or Q) Build all ingredients in highball glass over cubed ice
Garnish with an optional salt rim and grapefruit slice

Since we are not able to invite visitors to Ocho’s Distillery at this time, we’re doing the next best thing and bringing La Alteña to you! Check out this two minute virtual distillery tour, taking you from field to bottle. ¡Salud!
Until next month, stay well & sipping good tequila,
